The Meditation Room is a quiet, therapeutic space designed for you to practice mindfulness and meditation so you can find some peace between studies. Whether you’re just looking for somewhere quiet to be alone with your thoughts, or if you’re more experienced with meditation practices, this room is for everyone. Located in the Office of Counseling Services, you can book a thirty minute session through the onlineÂ
If you’d like to follow along with a meditation guide, you can use the apps found on the Meditation Room iPad, which you can request from the front desk. You can also use the meditation cards found on the shelves, or hold the Reflect Orb to monitor your mood while you listen to a guide on the corresponding app.
The other features in the room include a light projector, a soothing sand garden, coloring books, and a Breathing Buddha that leads you in 4-7-8 breathing technique. You’ll also find an aroma diffuser and ambience speakers. Ask for help at the front desk if you need assistance operating anything in the room.
This space is all yours to use as you wish, and you will have it entirely to yourself when you visit. Once again, you can book a thirty minute session through the online Monarch Wellness Portal.
