Academic Programs
The M.A. degree may serve as professional training for students seeking employment in federal, state and local government agencies or in private-sector organizations.
The program produces scholars with strong backgrounds in the substantive areas of criminology, criminal justice, theory, inequality and policy as well as in research methods and statistics.
Assistantships are available to a few select graduate students who have shown dedication in their undergraduate studies
