Dental Hygiene Lab

Established in 1967, the Gene W. Hirschfeld School of Dental Hygiene at Old à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã University has an active student community, is engaged in research and embraces interprofessional education (IPE). We offer three programs--an entry-level B.S.D.H., a post-licensure B.S.D.H. and an M.S.D.H.--and we're accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).

Our teaching faculty is comprised of ten full-time faculty, nine of whom hold a Master of Science in Dental Hygiene degree and one DMD in Medical Dentistry. One faculty member has a doctoral degree, three are tenured, four are on a tenure track, and one is on a clinical track. We also employ 10-15 adjunct faculty members during the academic year to teach didactic and clinical courses.
