Hixon Student Gallery
The Hixon Student Gallery showcases work created by the students of the Art Department, Old à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã University. It is an experimental space providing student artists with an opportunity to research and explore major themes in contemporary culture.
Student exhibitions lasts two weeks and include an opening reception on a Thursday. Everyone is invited to the reception and to view the installations during the Gallery opening hours:
- Monday-ThursdayÌý9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- FridayÌý9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Saturday-SundayÌý1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
The Hixon Gallery is part of the Art Department buildings and is located in the James A. Hixon Art Studio Building, 1029 W 47th ST, Norfolk, VA 23508, room 2002.

The Baron and Ellin Gordon Art Galleries exhibit works by nationally and internationally recognized self-taught artists, contemporary artists working in all media, and local and regional artists connected with Old à£à£Ö±²¥Ðã University.
